The honey the forest actually made
Raw Khalisha honey from the Sundarbans — collected in a two-week window by licensed Mawali hunters, never heated, lab tested for sucrose. If it is not the best honey you have tasted, we take it back.
Almost every "Sundarban honey" you can buy is not from the Sundarbans
Here is what is actually sitting on the shelf
Sugar-fed honey
Bees kept next to sugar syrup feeders produce honey with high sucrose. It looks identical in the jar and costs a third as much to make.
Heated and filtered
Commercial processors heat honey to stop crystallisation. It kills the enzymes and spikes the HMF value, but it looks glossy on a shelf.
Rebranded blends
Cheap mixed-flower honey relabelled as Khalisha. There is no penalty for it, because almost nobody tests.
No lab report
Ask any seller for their sucrose and HMF numbers. The silence tells you everything.
What makes Khalisha different
One forest. One flower. One two-week window each April.
Mangrove single origin
Collected only from Khalisha blossom inside the Sundarbans, never blended with field honey.
Zero heat processing
Cold strained through mesh. No pasteurisation, so the natural enzymes and pollen survive.
Report number on the jar
Sucrose, moisture and HMF tested at a BSTI-recognised lab. Ask us and we send the full PDF.
Bought direct, paid fair
Three Mawali families in Koyra and Munshiganj, paid above trader rate for the risk they take.
Naturally thin and floral
19-21% moisture, so it pours. Thick honey is a different flower, not better honey.
Refuse it at the door
Open the parcel, smell the jar, and only then pay the delivery man.

How to take it
Simple, and there is a wrong way
One spoon, empty stomach
Take 1-2 teaspoons first thing in the morning before anything else.
Warm water, never hot
Mix into warm water with lemon if you prefer. Boiling water destroys the enzymes.
Keep the spoon dry
Moisture is the only thing that spoils honey. A dry spoon and a closed lid keeps it good for years.
Every batch is tested before it is bottled
