Black seed oil loses its most valuable compound — thymoquinone — when it is heated. That is why most cheap kalojira oil in the market tastes flat: it has been expeller pressed hot, then refined and deodorised.
Ours is pressed on a screw press kept below 40°C, then settled and bottled unfiltered in amber glass so light cannot degrade it. The result is dark, peppery and strong enough to catch the back of your throat — which is exactly what you should expect.
Each batch is tested for thymoquinone content and free fatty acid value.

That peppery burn is thymoquinone. If your black seed oil is smooth and tasteless, it has almost certainly been refined.

You can tell from the throat burn. Most kalojira oil in the market is refined and tasteless. This one is the real deal.

Most sellers use plastic. Glass keeps it stable. Sediment at the bottom is normal for unfiltered oil.
